Manager - C++ Developer

We are seeking a C++ Developer with a passion for product development to join our Technology Team supporting the Commodities and Global Markets Group, a core business within Macquarie with strong global foundations. What role will you play?

As a C++ Developer, you will work on the design, development, testing (both unit and automation), implementation, and maintenance of software solutions with a focus on quality and DevOps principles. You will also be responsible for production support, including coordinating the resolution of high-severity incidents.

As a key member of the team, you will analyse, test, and implement BAU requests. You will play a crucial role in identifying risks and contributing to the development and improvement of system processes and procedures.

What you offer

  • 9 to 11 years of experience as a C++ Developer.
  • Experience in building and maintaining new and existing applications using C++ (version 11/14 onwards), STL, Unix, and SQL databases.
  • Good understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Familiarity with Python, Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and similar tools.
  • Experience in CI/CD environments.
